As a writer, some of her notable works include: Alpha, a one-woman show about dogsled racing which received initial development through the Old Globe’s literary department in 2025, and was a semifinalist for SheNYC in 2026; Chimera, a short film that premiered at the Philadelphia Film Society in 2023; Siren, a full length play that was selected as a finalist for the Bay Area Playwrights’ Festival in 2020, received a staged reading in Shotgun Players’ Champagne Reading Series in 2023, and was a top ten finalist for the Stanley Drama Award in 2026; and Salamander, a full length play produced by Elephant Room Productions in Philadelphia’s 2018 Fringe Festival, benefitting Women Organized Against Rape (WOAR). Lisa was a member of The Foundry, a playwright incubator through PlayPenn, in 2020. This past June, Lisa took Alpha to the Valdez Theatre Conference in Alaska; this winter she heads to France for a writing residency at Château d’Orquevaux. As an actor, she has worked at regional theatres across the country, with a particular penchant for Shakespeare and classical text.
