A circus dance production that will keep your attention from start to finish. Audiences will feel the raw emotion from our performers and be inspired by the thrilling stunts that peel the layers of chaos and bring a new meaning to the word: ANARCHY!
Cannonball is the largest hub of the Philadelphia Fringe Festival, championing a revolutionary artist-led model that prioritizes equity, experimentation, and community connection. Now in its sixth year, Cannonball presents more than 100 artists across five stages, representing nearly 30 percent of the overall Philadelphia Fringe Festival. From rebellious circus and delicious dance to fearless theater and activist art, Cannonball pushes the boundaries of live performance while creating a vibrant, artist-centered ecosystem for independent performance makers and adventurous audiences alike.

About the Artist
The Rebellion Circus is a collective of performers from Rebel Arts Movement. Founded by Alyssa Bigbee in 2020, Rebel Arts Movement is a community-centered circus arts and dance studio based in the Kensington neighborhood of Philadelphia. Originally opening to provide accessible movement education, the organization expanded to include circus arts in 2022 after Bigbee trained in Aerial Bungee, Aerial Silks, and Lyra. Rebel Arts Movement specializes in tumbling, acrobatics, and aerial arts, with a mission to reach inner city youth and provide a space where they can learn and express themselves freely through movement. The Rebellion Circus was founded in 2023 as a means to provide a space for students and performers to raise awareness to social issues through circus. As a hub for community connection and youth empowerment, The Rebellion and Rebel Arts both serve as a place for budding artist to be their authentic selves. Located in Harrowgate at the corner of I street and Ontario, Rebel Arts Movement is more than a studio—it's a movement for social change through artistic expression.
