ON THE ROCKS is a production company focused on the deep-fried, late-night, BYOB, theatrical dumpster-fires director-producer Elaina Di Monaco and playwright-producer Haygen-Brice Walker make together.

ON THE ROCKS makes bold queer theatre that is messy, absurd, terrifying, and hilarious. Our mission is to build wild, exciting performances that feel like a party for our audiences, while still engaging with important topics and relevant social issues.

We here at ON THE ROCKS will challenge your expectations, chase them with a shot of tequila, and send you stumbling off into the night thinking, "what the fuck was that?" Their theatrical, low-budget shit shows have played to sold-out crowds in various unconventional venues throughout Philadelphia.

After nearly seven years in retirement, they are so ready to be back.

Haygen-Brice Walker [he/him/his] is a half-Puerto Rican, half-white trash playwright raised in a Southern swamp [by professional bodybuilding parents] and currently living in Philadelphia where he is writing the most fucked up plays you’ve never seen. Haygen-Brice is an Affiliated Writer with The Playwrights' Center (2018-2019 Jerome Many Voices Fellow); an alum of writers’ groups at Interact, Page 73, & Playwrights’ Realm; received a Creative Residency from SPACE on Ryder Farm; and was the Inaugural Recipient of The Terrence McNally Fellowship from Rattlestick Theatre and Tom Kirdahy Productions. Haygen-Brice is Co-Founder (along with director Elaina Di Monaco) of ON THE ROCKS, a production company dedicated to the fringey, deep-fried, late-night, BYOB theatrical-shit shows Haygen-Brice and Elaina make together.

Everyday Haygen-Brice wakes up with big "I'm J-Lo and I should have had my own half-time show" energy, which is trite for a gay Puerto Rican but he's embracing the cliche and living in his truth. He is proudly represented by WME and writ large and daylights as a Flagship Store Manager at one of the highest volume American Eagle locations
