audiOhm is a live electro-acoustic sound bath that combines elements of meditation, improvisation, psychedelic music, and restorative yoga to create an immersive and transformative auditory and visceral experience. Led by multi-instrumentalist Brett Zweiman and occasional guest musician, audiOhm combines live instrumentation and environmental sounds to create rich and dynamic soundscapes in real-time.
audiOhm begins with meditation practice that focuses attention on the breath to help participants quiet their minds and enter a state of relaxation, preparing them for the journey ahead. Brett offers a few restorative postures to bring further comfort to the body before the gradually introducing a range of rhythms, timbres, and tones. Throughout the sound bath, ambient sound textures combine with live music to create a dynamic and constantly evolving auditory landscape tailored to stimulate the senses and induce a state of altered consciousness, changes in perception, and an overall sense of well-being.
The audiOhm experience is held in a comfortable and relaxed setting, with participants sitting or lying down on mats and pillows. Some find the experience to be deeply relaxing and meditative, while others may find it to be energizing and uplifting. Come indulge in this transformative, healing, relaxing and fun experience!
Studio 34 is a mixed-use yoga/healing/arts spot in West Philly named for the trolley that stops
out front. All year long we host art, comedy, dance, music, poetry and theatre in our gallery,
lounge, and studio spaces, as well as healing services, 30 weekly yoga classes. And a wide array of workshops.
