Cannonball is the largest hub of the Philadelphia Fringe Festival, championing a revolutionary artist-led model that prioritizes equity, experimentation, and community connection. Now in its sixth year, Cannonball presents more than 100 artists across five stages, representing nearly 30 percent of the overall Philadelphia Fringe Festival. From rebellious circus and delicious dance to fearless theater and activist art, Cannonball pushes the boundaries of live performance while creating a vibrant, artist-centered ecosystem for independent performance makers and adventurous audiences alike.

At the age of 9, Junru started touring as a solo hand-balancer with Cirque Du Soleil's Dralion. After 5 years with Cirque du Soleil, Junru went on to win China's Got Talent season 4, and the same year she created a Guinness World Record for hand balancing which she still holds. In 2016, Junru moved to California, U.S. as an Extraordinary Alien. Since then, Junru went to University of Southern California, has performed with the pioneer contemporary circus company --- The 7 Fingers, Palazzo in Germany, and countless other circus companies in North America and Europe.
The ultimate international acrobatic performer, Junru has captivated audiences across four continents and more than 20 countries over the past two decades. Her specialties include hand balancing and hula hoops, showcasing a rare blend of strength, precision, and artistry.
