She’s worried about going crazy. She’s worried about getting an exorcism. She’s worried about her health insurance.

The Lemonade Stand strives to create a home for new work and new artists in the expansive Philadelphia arts community. We prioritize the development process, community, and partnership. We are committed to being rough around the edges, adaptive to each process, and true to the artist's vision.
A company by and for emerging theatre artists, we aim to foster and celebrate communities of artists who create beyond The Lemonade Stand. We want to bring artists of all mediums to collaborate, find community, and unlock new creative possibilities. We are successful when artists collaborate outside the Lemonade Stand and we are proud to be a part of the next generation of Philadelphia artists.

About the Artist
The Lemonade Stand is a performing arts company creating a home for new work and emerging artists in Philadelphia. Since its founding in 2025, TLS has produced three world premiere plays (Welp., Girlfails, and Acute Exposure), two new works reading series, and several new clown pieces. Their work has been featured on WXPN, Broad Street Review, and Midbrow. TLS is fiscally sponsored by Producer Hub and is a FringeArts-sponsored Hub for the 2026 Philadelphia Fringe Festival. TLS is a proud partner of 1319 Press, and has published the works of multiple Lemonade Stand playwrights.
