Join us for two events on Thursday, September 24th:

1) 6:30 - 7:30pm A Folk Dance Class for all ages and no experience necessary! Instructors Danuta Misthal, Monika Klimet and Della Cowall introduce students to Slavic dances from the Ukraine, Poland and other cultural dances. Join hands and enjoy this fun community-building event! Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable shoes and clothes for this hour-long class. - $5 (60 minutes)

2) 8:00 pm Folk Dances Performance features over ten dancers with ethnic music, dance steps and costumes. -- $10 (60 minutes)

About the Artist

Née Danse/Theatre and ULP Folk Dancers are partnering to bring FringeArts audiences an experiential workshop and performance highlighting the music and dances of Slavic cultures. Founded in 1994, Née Danse/Theatre is a 501(c)(3) performing arts organization that seeks to expand the creative capacity of individuals and communities through dance, theatre, and music. Founder/Artistic Director Della Cowall honors her Ukrainian heritage and was delighted to find The Ukrainian League of Philadelphia (ULP) and its Slavic Folk Dance Classes.
