Somatic Daytime Dance Party
with Ki Martinez
Saturday, September 26
1:00–3:00 PM
Studio 34 and Soma Ki Somatics invite you to a Somatic Dance Party, hosted by Ki Martinez! Session begins with a brief intro to what makes somatic movement different and ways we can approach it if we are new to exploring somatic dance. The rest of the time is a sober dance party centering a mindful approach to movement, focused on listening to the body's inner leading. No prior experience required—This is the anti-performative space your inner dancer has been waiting for!
Studio 34 is a mixed-use yoga/healing/arts spot in West Philly named for the trolley that stops
out front. All year long we host art, comedy, dance, music, poetry and theatre in our gallery,
lounge, and studio spaces, as well as healing services, 30 weekly yoga classes. And a wide array of workshops.
