In 1849 Henry Brown mailed himself in a box to Philadelphia and successfully escaped slavery. Go on a history tour in Germantown and learn the story! Passmore Williamson will lead you on a walk through abolitionist history, where you will get to see the box and the man who mailed himself to freedom! Tour will not happen in the rain. You can bring your ticket to another performance and use it then.
