‘Phenomenology’ a Zen Fuzz music performance by Jenny Lee Maas
This show is based on 'Phenomenology' the new solo album by Maas.
It includes a live band performing her songs along with some image projections and artwork. Maas is a multi media artist that is bringing several of her art forms together; music, writing, fashion, video and art.
The album Phenomenology is a journey through the poetic perspective of Maas's life and pieces in it, the themes are moody, political & beautiful. She has created a series of gowns based on sound waves which will be used in the performance.
This will be held at Face Clock Gallery, 1935 N 2nd St, in Philadelphia PA on September 26th doors at 7:45 pm, show at 8

Jenny Lee Maas is a multi media artist, musician and designer who has been working in Philadelphia for 16 years. She has started several projects over the years; She has 2 fashion design labels; J.L.Maas (avant garde & special occasion wear) & Neutral Sparkle (eco-friendly fashion), she started Zen Fuzz as a multi instrumentalist solo act and as she found her voice has colloborated with other musicians, Stoic Muse Productions is the name of her video & photography media, and has a food blog called Healing Guts that is about eating intentionally to remain in remission for auto immune disorders. Maas worked as an assistant artist on public art creating murals out of paint and mosaics, and stained glass windows. She creates fine art (sculpture, painting & drawing) under her full name.
Before moving to philadelphia she went to Raritan Valley Community College in NJ and graduated with honors and two degrees; a Associate of the arts & Associate of Fine Arts, where she experimented with many mediums; drawing, painting, music, sculpture and philisophy. She then transferred to Maine College of Art where she graduated with honors with A BFA with a major in sculpture and minor in drawing.
