2026 Philly Fringe lineup just announced! FringeArts Members Presale on now. Tickets go on sale to the general public 7/17 at 10am.
PhotoProv is where your camera roll inspires stories and gets reimagined beyond recognition.
Part improv show, part visual adventure, PhotoProv invites the audience to submit their own photos to spark entirely improvised scenes. That blurry vacation selfie? Suddenly a high-stakes drama. A cute pet photo? A mysterious origin story. Your photos become the starting point for stories that are funny, heartfelt, absurd, and completely unexpected.
Created by photographer and longtime improviser Katarina Kojic, PhotoProv grew from a simple question: what if we could step inside a photo and let our imaginations run wild? After early iterations in NYC as part of an immersive gallery-style improv experience, the show has evolved into a dynamic, audience-driven collaboration now thriving in Philadelphia.
Here’s the magic: when your photo is chosen, it doesn’t just sit on the screen, it comes alive. The meaning shifts, the story expands, and the audience joins in seeing something new. Every image becomes a shared journey of imagination, perspective, and connection.
At its heart, PhotoProv is about letting go of needing to be right and leaning into curiosity, play, and collective creativity. Sometimes it’s hilarious. Sometimes it sneaks up on your heart. Sometimes it’s both at the same time.
Come for the laughs, stay for the delightful chaos and see your own photos in ways you never imagined.

Katarina Kojic is a photographer, improviser, and creative alchemist based in Philadelphia. For nearly two decades, she’s been exploring how people see themselves, each other, and the world—through art, play, and collaboration. Her work blends intimate portraiture, improvisational performance, and immersive experiences that invite audiences to participate in unexpected ways.
A longtime improviser, Katarina has performed, taught, and created sketch and improv shows in New York City, Portland, and Philadelphia, and has developed curriculum for improv programs for diverse communities, including individuals with Parkinson’s. She brings that experience together with her photography to craft moments that are funny, heartfelt, surprising, and visually striking.
PhotoProv, her signature project, is where these passions collide: a show where audience photos spark unscripted stories and everyone becomes part of the creative act. For Katarina, creativity is about curiosity, connection, and courage—seeing differently, playing boldly, and laughing along the way.
Her approach is playful, empathetic, and deeply human. Whether behind the camera, on stage, or facilitating experiences, she empowers people to discover new perspectives, embrace experimentation, and enjoy the joyful chaos that comes when imagination takes the lead.
