Some emotions never become words. They stay in the body, returning with the wind, the tide and the fading light. She Carries the Moon is a dance film shaped by movement, silence and atmosphere, following a woman through solitude, memory and the search for her own voice.

The body remembers what the mind has forgotten. Small shifts of weight, a breath, a pause and the rhythm of walking become expressions of feelings that cannot be spoken. Filmed on the shoreline, where the sea is constantly changing yet always returning, the work reflects on how memory lives in the body and how we continue to carry experiences long after they have passed.

Like the sea, emotions return in their own time. This film stays with them, leaving space for each viewer to recognise something familiar.
