The Fetus Show

Jessica Farber

Clown, Comedy, Theater

Connect

The Fetus Show is an absurd and physical exploration of life at its very beginning. Through clown, movement, and sharp comedic instinct, Jessica Farber traces existence before language, identity, or choice — returning audiences to the strange threshold between possibility and becoming.

Part origin story, part existential comedy, the piece examines what we inherit before we are even born: family histories, expectations, instincts, and emotional residue passed unknowingly from one generation to the next. The fetus emerges as both character and metaphor — suspended between destiny and accident, innocence and inevitability.

Balancing vulnerability with irreverent humor, Farber embraces clown logic to confront the mystery of being alive. Tender, grotesque, surreal and deeply human, The Fetus Show invites audiences to laugh at the miracle, confusion, and absurdity of arriving in a world already in motion.
