Theatre Contra is back and they're taking on the ENTIRE Twilight Saga. But can they do it all in just 60 minutes? Can Bella survive high school, love triangles, vampire secret societies, bed-breaking sex, and a plethora of terrible wigs before the clock runs out? Can Edward stay looking so intense that he may actually be constipated for a full hour? Will anyone explain the terrifying CGI creature named Renesmee? Probably not...but we're going to have a lot of fun trying.
Whether you're Team Edward, Team Jacob (or, let's be real, Team Charlie), join us as we explore why we all thought it was okay that a 100+ year-old dude was dating (and sometimes stalking) a freshly minted 18-year-old because a Mormon lady thought it was romantic.

About the Artist
Founded in 2018, Theatre Contra thrives on the phrase “low stakes, high fun”. By challenging the typical audience-theatre dynamic, we aim to fill spaces with joy, share stories of conflict and conviction, and make theatre for everyone who wants to experience it.
Members currently inclue: Adam Howard, Bryant Edwards (founding member), Elizabeth Crino, John Patouhas, Jo Vito Ramírez, Katie Frazer, Mariah Ghant, Natajia Sconiers, and Leslie Miller.
Theatre Contra is a 2024 Philly Mag Best of Philly Winner and a 2026 Bronze Awardee of the Philadelphia Inquirer Philly Favorites.
