DOUBLE BILL!
Where Wild Waits:
The students of Circadium present a piece that navigates a complex web of aerial and acrobatic work mirroring the tension between our inner emotional landscapes and the carefully curated personas we present to the world. The artists celebrate the beauty of human connection through circus.
Where Wild Waits will first be performed in Philadelphia, and then brought to Auch, France in October to be presented as part of the CIRCA Festival. All proceeds from this show will go to support the students' travel to the festival.
The Tungus Mungus Fungus Rumpus:
Nature is weird and mushrooms are fascinating!
Humans and fungi have had a long, entangled existence with one another.
The single-celled yeast bakes your bread, the elusive truffle is a prize for pigs and chefs alike, and where would our world be without Penicillin-providing mold?
Behold ecological entertainment and poetic ponderings about the weird and wobbly world of fungi in The Tungus Mungus Fungus Rumpus - a quirky, earthy, and slightly damp evening of juggling for all ages!
Hopefully you'll take a lichen to this show ;)
