Who Do You Think You Are?
Is a question we may have asked ourselves or been asked in a condescending sort of way. Kind of like, "What do you want to be when you grow up?" As if you're not already being someone.
Everyone is born with that something that makes them unique. Some talent, some passion, some heart's desire that perhaps was never spoken out loud, lest the delicate dream disappear and disappointment becomes the fuel that forms a life.
Life happens and the dream gets buried, but in a shallow grave. It remains under the surface, just waiting to come to fruition. Until it does, it may feel like something's missing--a burning desire, a gaping hole...
Who Do You Think You Are? Will take you on a journey into the origin story of Rose Love; born with a voice, and a dream. But then as with many, life intrudes. "Reality" sets in and the voice gets silenced, but not completely.
With the help and inspiration from the audience, Rose Love can realize her dream and express herself freely. In the process, audience members will explore their own childhood dreams and express their own unique voices in a chorus of joy.
