Performed by Irene Foley-Chort as the delightfully unconventional Rose Love, Who Do You Think You Are? is an interactive solo theatre experience where storytelling, wordless song, humor, ritual, and audience participation weave together into a playful and deeply human act of remembering.
Rose lives in a world where a sparkly red heart can appear in the middle of your forehead, monster voices can be silenced by finding your own, and singing isn't a performance—it's an act of courage, healing, and coming home to yourself.
As Rose retraces the moments that taught her to hide, she gently invites the audience to explore where they may have done the same.
What if the truest part of you never disappeared?
What if it has simply been waiting...
...for permission to sing again?
Audience members are invited—but not required—to participate through simple writing, breath, and shared vocal expression. Whether you sing, hum, whisper, or simply listen, your presence is enough.
The performance contains references to childhood trauma, grief, and loss, but its heart is hope. It is ultimately a celebration of resilience, forgiveness, authentic joy, and the extraordinary courage to remember who you've always been.
Because you already have a voice.
You already have a song.
The world doesn't need a different version of you. It needs the one you’ve been hiding. ❤️

About the Artist
Irene Foley-Chort (Rose Love) is an actor, playwright, and creative spirit originally from Atlantic City who arrived in Philadelphia by way of Portland, Oregon. A lifelong theatre enthusiast, she has performed in community, college, children's, immersive, and interactive theatre. Her original play, Earth School, exploring themes of the afterlife and reincarnation, was produced by Atlantic Cape Community College.
Recent performance credits include Fearlandia Haunts in Portland and The Murder Mystery Company / American Immersion Theater in Philadelphia. Around the city, you may also encounter Irene as her alter ego, Rose Love, creating aura portraits, leading vibrational drumming and singing experiences, and spreading joy at parks, festivals, and community gatherings.

Audience Interaction
Content & Participation Advisory: Who Do You Think You Are? is an interactive solo theater piece that includes brief references to childhood sexual abuse, grief, death, and emotional healing. These topics are shared as part of a personal journey of self-discovery, resilience, and reclaiming one's voice. Audience participation is invited but never required and may include simple breathing exercises, vocalization, singing, call-and-response, answering questions, writing a word or intention, and other light, group-based activities. Guests are encouraged to participate at their own comfort level, and all forms of engagement—including quiet observation—are welcome.
