What happens when your body falls apart? And when those parts follow you, waiting for–something? Do you listen to their grievances? Or scream until they leave? Do they ever leave? ZOMBIED is a gothic supernatural thriller about the fight to defend one thing we all think we deserve: our own bodies.
Queer and disabled people often find their relationships to their bodies irreparably shaped by the negative perceptions of monsters, and at the same time feel comforted by monstrous characters. ZOMBIED is a meditation on this tension, drawing from many of the class literary and gothic monsters we are all familiar with.

Hudson Wolfe is a playwright, actor, director, and dramaturg based in Philadelphia, PA. He’s constantly searching for and creating theatre that pushes boundaries of traditional performance styles and structures (and there’s a special place in his heart for scenic and mural painting). He aims to create works that leave audiences pondering for days, weeks, months after seeing the show, as shows that leave him that way are his favorites. Themes that are particularly interesting to him include religiosity; the narrative power of sex and sexual behaviors to interrogate intimacy and identity; interrogating our understanding of history; and our societal treatments of criminals, deviants, and monsters.
