Philly Fringe Postcards

Introducing Philly Fringe Postcards, a peer-to-peer review experiment created for the 2025 Fringe by Savannah Reich.

For this year’s festival, a cohort of up to 25 participating artists will each write a “postcard” to one other artist about their work. Each postcard will not be a traditional review, but a short open letter from an artist to another artist about their show. I’ve asked the artists to respond to questions like, what do you want to say to that creator after seeing their work? What connections did it make in your mind? How did you feel when you walked away?

Every artist in the cohort will write a postcard to someone and receive a postcard from someone else. The goal is to share one of the juiciest parts of the Fringe; conversations between artists about their work.

We’ll be posting postcards throughout the Fringe. Follow along here, and at @phillyfringepostcards on IG!
