Located by Temple University Broken Mirror Studio is an 850 sq ft, flexible rehearsal and performance space designed by artists for artists. Located on the 3rd floor of an industrial warehouse our studio features an open, adaptable layout, optimized for experimental theatre, intensive workshops, and independent Fringe projects. Whether you are a producer seeking a unique venue, an artist focused on developing raw creative work, or an audience member looking for an immersive, up-close experience, Broken Mirror provides a grounded, supportive space dedicated strictly to artistry over industry. Production Note: Located in a vibrant, multi-use creative warehouse, the studio features an energetic ambient environment. It is ideal for high-energy physical theatre, movement pieces, workshops, and works comfortable with a lively industrial backdrop, but may not be suited for whisper-quiet or acoustically sensitive dramatic performances. Venue Amenities Performance & Production: Folding theatrical flats, 14' photo backdrop system, duvateen divider curtains, electric keyboard, bluetooth speaker system, dimmable LED lights. Furniture & Storage: 4, six-foot Folding tables, 30 folding chairs, dedicated locker space. Comfort & Hospitality: Wifi, lounge/living room space, electric fireplace, tea station, water cooler, microwave, mini fridge.
Note: Finding the Studio: Broken Mirror's studio is within a larger warehouse called, "Emerald Windows" located at the intersection of 9th and Dauphin. The entrance to the building is located directly on the corner of the intersection. There will be a small staircase with green painted steps, and a series of lockboxes on the rails.
