At the Performance Garage, we believe that dance matters. Located in the Spring Garden Neighborhood of Philadelphia, the Performance Garage is a dance service organization dedicated to supporting dance artists, companies, educators, and choreographers. The Performance Garage is committed to reducing the barriers for dance companies to produce their work, creating a more meaningful dialogue between artists and audiences, and providing a wide range of educational opportunities for people of all ages and experience levels. An incubator for local talent, the Performance Garage offers dance artists subsidized rental rates to host classes, workshops, rehearsals, and productions as well as a free after school dance program for neighborhood youth.
